I love the quaint village feel you get when walking past the little bakeries, art shops and eateries along Kloof Street. I had never been to Caffe Milano which most certainly is cute, neat and ‘quaint’ and decided I must pop in for lunch.
It is a well run Italian eaterie serving breakfast and lunch. There is a lunch special menu available aside from the normal menu with delicious and filling Italian cuisine options. I started with a thirst quenching Frullato – the pineapple, green apple and ginger was wonderful!!
Pasta was on the daily special and I settled on a Spaghetti Carbonara. The portion was generous and it was seasoned to perfection. I had to take half of it home since I wanted to sample some of the delectable pastries and treats from the counter which I was ogling!!!
